Job description

We are seeking an experienced VMware vSAN Expert Consultant to design, implement, optimize, and support VMware vSAN and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in VMware virtualization technologies, storage architecture, cluster management, and performance tuning within enterprise data center environments., * Design, deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSAN clusters.

  • Perform vSAN upgrades, migrations, health checks, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Optimize storage performance, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
  • Administer VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, vCenter, and related infrastructure components.
  • Implement and manage vSAN Storage Policies and Data Protection solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and storage-related issues.
  • Collaborate with application, network, and security teams during implementation and support activities.
  • Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for infrastructure modernization and best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSAN, vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Experience with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environments.
  • Knowledge of storage technologies, RAID, SAN/NAS, and data protection concepts.
  • Experience with VMware lifecycle management, patching, and upgrades.
  • Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, and distributed switches.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.

<>Preferred Qualifications

  • VMware certifications such as VCP-DCV, VCAP, or VCDX.
  • Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX.
  • Exposure to automation tools such as PowerCLI, PowerShell, or Ansible.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.

<>Education

  • Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
