Application Developer - Hybrid

As a Senior Application Developer, you will be responsible for understanding business needs and updating application code with unit testing. This role involves providing development support during testing, creating proofs of concept for new technology evaluations, and supporting application deployment. You will be working on an agile team with a team lead and may have client interactions. This position has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite., * Understand business needs and update application code with unit testing

• Provide development support during testing
• Create proofs of concept for new technology evaluation
• Support application deployment and create production plans
• Work on an agile team with a team lead

• 7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies
• Strong knowledge and expertise in container and cloud technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, and Azure
• Good knowledge of technologies like Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NOSQL, and Restful services, WS-Security
• Hands-on experience with tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Autosys
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Proficiency in writing complex Unix/Linux scripting
• Hands-on experience in UI technologies like Angular and React
• Hands-on experience with Code Quality Tools like JUnit and Sonar/Crucible
• Experience with modern development methodologies including Agile
