(Senior) Data Scientist

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead data science initiatives across the organization, applying advanced analytics, AI and NLP to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with IT and global teams to shape digital projects and promote data-driven decision making. You will mentor others and steward best practices in AI adoption, contributing to digital transformation in Human Pharma. Pay / Benefits * Analyze large, complex manufacturing, quality, engineering and supply chain data to deliver pharma business solutions * Model business requirements in analytics systems with IT and manage prioritization/implementation of digital projects * Drive and deliver global digitalization projects with HP departments, IT, BI-X, and external partners * Provide support for advanced analytics applications across HP sites to advance digitalization and innovation * Promote digitalization across the organization, build data-driven approaches, and support change processes * Lead complex global data science and AI initiatives as a subject matter expert for business stakeholders * Mentor Data Scientists and drive best practices and adoption of emerging AI technologies Tasks * Several years of relevant data science and machine learning experience * Proven expertise in Data Science, Statistics and ML with Python * Experience with MLOps, IoT, and LLMs/RAG/recommendation engines * Experience handling large data volumes from diverse sources * Experience with relational, vector, and non-SQL databases * Hands-on development and deployment of Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions including LLM-based apps and autonomous AI agents * Knowledge of transformer architectures and practical Generative AI / LLM applications * Proficiency in scripting and modern software engineering practices; cloud computing concepts * Strong self-learning mindset and ability to solve problems independently * Fluent in English; German preferred Key requirements *
