Job description

Administer, maintain, and enhance SAP system landscapes (ABAP and Java), ensuring high availability, stability, and performance.
Manage SAP environments and underlying databases, including installations, upgrades, support packages, kernel updates, patch management, and system/client copies.
Provide 2nd-level technical support, troubleshoot complex SAP Basis issues, and optimise system performance.
Implement SAP security measures and support vulnerability management and system maintenance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, international teams, and external partners on SAP infrastructure and transformation projects, including the implementation of modern SAP and cloud technologies.
Support project delivery and take ownership of technical workstreams where required.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration within complex SAP environments.
Strong knowledge of SAP technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP ASE, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP.
Experience supporting enterprise SAP landscapes; experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
Knowledge of SAP security concepts and best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a structured, independent approach to work.
Fluent German and good English language skills. SAP certifications are beneficial.
