Job description

We are hiring a UI/UX Designer to join our Keystone product team, focused on NetApp Console and Keystone Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS) subscription experiences. You will be embedded with Product and Engineering-designing quoting, subscription lifecycle, capacity management, and related operational workflows that customers and internal users rely on every day.

You will work within the Blueprint design system to turn complex enterprise requirements into clear, usable product experiences, and grow your ownership of features with support from product and design partners.

We are an AI-forward product organization and expect team members to leverage responsible AI to drive measurable outcomes. Candidates should be prepared to discuss and demonstrate how they have used AI tools or models to improve productivity, quality, and innovation, including specific examples, practical results, and the governance practices they followed.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of UX/UI design experience in product or enterprise software (internship and project experience may be considered)
  • An online portfolio demonstrating UX process and craft-user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes
  • Working knowledge of interaction patterns for web, user-centered design, design principles, and techniques
  • Experience using Figma to create low- to high-fidelity prototypes and mockups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design rationale and incorporate feedback
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional partners
  • Ability to learn a complex enterprise domain and translate requirements into usable designs
  • Experience applying a design system (components, patterns, tokens)-Blueprint experience is a plus
  • Concrete examples of AI tools usage to improve outcomes (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Figma Make, etc.)
  • Ability to describe AI impact in practical terms (e.g., time saved, faster iteration, improved quality)
  • Awareness of responsible AI practices (prompting carefully, validating outputs, protecting privacy and IP), * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with complex web applications, dashboards, or data-heavy workflows
  • Experience maintaining or contributing to design systems
  • Good to have exposure to subscriptions space, billing, or similar enterprise SaaS workflows
  • Working knowledge of current web-based technologies and frameworks (e.g. CSS, Angular, React) to inform design decisions
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards
