Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Terraform Azure Platform Engineer in Orlando, FL., We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, secure, and support enterprise cloud platforms that enable scalability, reliability, and operational excellence. This individual will play a key role in modernizing infrastructure, implementing automation strategies, enhancing developer experiences through self-service capabilities, and establishing standardized cloud platforms that support enterprise applications and services. The ideal candidate is passionate about Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps practices, and building highly reliable systems at scale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise-scale Azure cloud platforms and shared services
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Bicep
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules and standardized deployment patterns
  • Implement Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, and cloud operating models
  • Design automated infrastructure provisioning and self-service platform capabilities
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
  • Implement GitOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code best practices
  • Establish platform engineering standards, templates, and reference architectures
  • Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Partner with development, infrastructure, networking, and security teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions
  • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend platform improvements
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud architecture, automation, and engineering best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • 3+ years of hands-on Terraform experience within enterprise environments
  • Experience building reusable infrastructure modules and automation frameworks
  • Experience delivering highly available and resilient cloud solutions
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native architecture
  • Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
