Job description
Kforce has client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a creative and collaborative Mid-Level UX Designer with a strong emphasis on Problem Solving, Figma, Design Systems, cross-team Collaboration. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and accessible user experiences across our native mobile and desktop platforms, with a particular focus on integrating emerging technologies. You’ll be a key partner to our product management and development teams, translating moderately complex challenges into scalable design solutions. You will reside within a high-performing, highly supportive Design team., * Conduct UX research and competitive analysis on iOS and Android native technologies and best practices
- Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations for project stakeholders
- Design and iterate on user interfaces for both native mobile (iOS/Android) and desktop, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience, including the conceptualization and design of rich push notification elements
- Leverage Figma to its full potential, creating high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and detailed design documentation, including accessibility annotations
- Leverage, and contribute to, our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to accessibility standards
- Collaborate closely with Digital Product Managers, Developers, and cross-functional partners to frame problems, scope solutions, and support product strategy through design services, particularly in the research and development of new communication channels like rich push notifications
- Clearly articulate design choices and rationale, demonstrating a working understanding of human-centered and service design principles
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working directly with a design or product team providing UI/UX services across web and native platforms
- High proficiency in Figma, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design for native mobile and desktop experiences
- Demonstrated experience with design systems
- Working understanding of operating in an Agile environment
- A working understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them effectively in design
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively and present work confidently
- Experience working closely with stakeholders to frame problems and propose data-driven design solutions with clear rationale
- Demonstrated working knowledge of utilizing research platforms such as Maze, User Testing, etc. for usability testing of prototypes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
