AI Systems Developer III

Experteer Overview As an AI Systems Developer III, you design, build, and support enterprise AI solutions to streamline processes and enhance user experiences. You will contribute to scalable architectures, integrate large language models into business systems, and advance best practices. You’ll work across data, security, and deployment teams to deliver production-ready AI capabilities. This role offers impact at scale within a dynamic, cross-functional environment in Denver. You’ll help shape our AI platform and governance practices to drive measurable business outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement AI-powered apps using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and agent workflows * Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend components for production AI solutions * Integrate AI tech with internal apps, automation platforms, and business systems * Improve model performance via prompts, evaluation frameworks, fine-tuning, and retrieval optimization * Partner with data teams to prepare and manage training/testing/inference datasets * Implement security controls, data governance, and responsible AI practices * Support CI/CD, containerized deployments, model versioning, monitoring, and operations readiness * Troubleshoot production issues and deliver long-term solutions * Create technical docs and mentor junior developers through code reviews * Contribute to technical architecture and best practices Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience * 4+ years of software development with strong Python expertise * Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML in production * Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, agent frameworks, and AI orchestration tools * Knowledge of APIs, microservices, SQL databases, cloud platforms, and container technologies * Familiarity with AI security, governance, and compliance best practices * Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions * Experience supporting full SDLC from design to deployment and support Key requirements *
