Senior Cloud Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will design and implement complex cloud-based architectures to support agile development in a financial services context. You’ll work with AWS and multi-cloud patterns, modernizing distributed apps and building automated CI/CD and testing frameworks. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure software and comprehensive documentation. Your work will enable reliable, observable systems with rollback strategies and robust deployment pipelines. Compensation / Benefits * Design and develop cloud-based architectures and subsystems for major initiatives * Create applications across multiple projects aligned with divisional goals * Support all testing phases, including UAT and post-installation validation * Prepare documentation for corporate initiatives and user guides * Establish project plans for moderately scoped initiatives and coordinate across phases * Conduct advanced technical and functional analysis for multiple projects * Develop and deploy applications in multi-cloud, containerized environments with automated rollback * Contribute to CI/CD and automation to streamline provisioning and deployment Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science (or related field) with 3 years of experience as Senior Cloud Engineer in financial services OR Master in Computer Science (or related field) with 1 year of experience in similar scope * Experience developing cloud-based software using AWS cloud technologies * Strong design and development of cloud applications on AWS and Azure * Experience with API Gateways, serverless functions (Lambda, Step Functions, Azure Functions) and core services (S3, RDS, DynamoDB, EC2, EKS) * Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Jenkins, Artifactory, Concourse * Experience with observability tools (Splunk, Datadog) * Proficiency in Java/JavaScript applications, Agile SDLC, and containerized multi-cloud deployments Key requirements *
