Experteer Overview As Technology Product Owner in Citi’s Controls Technology, you bridge business needs and engineering to deliver compliant software. You own and refine a forward-looking backlog, translating complex risk and control requirements into well-defined epics and user stories. You lead agile ceremonies, demos, and stakeholder alignment to ensure high-quality deliveries across sprints. You’ll become a domain SME, collaborating with cross-functional partners to minimize risk and drive measurable value. This role offers a chance to influence risk programs within a global financial environment. Compensation / Benefits * Own and refine the product backlog with visibility two sprints ahead * Translate complex requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria * Serve as the main point of contact for engineering during sprint cycles * Define solutions with business stakeholders and ensure testable acceptance criteria * Demonstrate new functionality to stakeholders and capture feedback for iterative improvements * Track product performance post-launch to inform investment decisions * Foster collaboration with business, UX, and technology partners; manage dependencies and risks * Lead agile ceremonies and promote OKR-aligned delivery * Leverage AI tools to accelerate requirements analysis and documentation * Flag risks and dependencies early and drive mitigation strategies Tasks * 8+ years in a technology-centric role in financial services * 5+ years as a dedicated Product Owner in Agile/Scrum * Domain expertise in Risk and Controls, Operational Risk, or Regulatory functions * Hands-on Agile product management, backlog writing, story mapping, and ceremonies (SAFe preferred) * Strong technical fluency and ability to discuss feasibility with engineering teams * Excellent stakeholder management and end-to-end ownership of deliverables * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance; MBA a plus Key requirements * medical, dental & vision coverage * 401(k) * life, accident, and disability insurance * wellness programs * paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays) * employee benefits site available
