Job description
Experteer Overview Join the AWS infrastructure group to design, build, and operate scalable load balancing services used by millions. You’ll contribute to ELB features across ALB, NLB, GWLB, and PrivateLink, helping customers scale and achieve high availability worldwide. You will work with cross-functional teams to ship with fast feedback, and you’ll help drive reliability and security at cloud scale. This role offers ownership, rapid impact, and the chance to shape the next generation of ELB services. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain scalable distributed systems powering ELB * Write high-quality code in Java, Go, or similar languages and participate in code reviews * Collaborate with product, design, and operations to improve performance, reliability, and security * Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions * Own end-to-end delivery of medium to large projects from design to deployment and monitoring * Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy * Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing * Monitor system health, participate in on-call rotations, and uphold high availability * Drive process improvements in development, testing, and operations * Stay current with AWS technologies and industry trends Tasks * 3+ years of non-internship software development experience * 2+ years in design or architecture of scalable systems * 1+ years in building large-scale distributed software applications using Java, C#, C++, or Perl * 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field Key requirements * health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D) * RSUs * sign-on payments * 401(k) matching * paid time off * parental leave
