Chief Strategic Architect

Experteer Overview As Chief Strategic Architect, you will be the technical authority and strategic advisor shaping Workato’s enterprise integration and AI orchestration vision. You’ll influence executive conversations, drive market positioning, and partner with product and engineering to shape roadmaps. This role sits at the intersection of technology credibility, executive influence, and industry leadership. You’ll build trust across the customer lifecycle and position Workato as the definitive platform for enterprise automation at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Act as the external-facing technical leader for enterprise integration, AI orchestration, and automation * Influence deal outcomes and product direction through executive-level engagement * Develop and co-create executive playbooks with Sales and Product teams * Lead strategic engagements with enterprise accounts and establish trusted C-level relationships * Shape AI-driven integration use cases and governance frameworks with customers * Represent Workato at industry events and produce high-impact thought leadership content * Drive deal acceleration through technical validation and strategic narratives * Create scalable enablement content and playbooks for field teams * Provide governance, scalability, and enterprise operating model guidance for automation initiatives * Act as a technical closer in competitive deals and articulate differentiation versus rivals Tasks * 20+ years of technology transformation experience including integration, middleware, or API management * 15+ years in senior architecture/leadership roles (e.g., Enterprise Architect, CTO, VP Engineering) * Proven track record advising C-level executives on technology strategy and enterprise transformation * Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, and operating models * Excellent executive communication skills, including board-level presentations and strategic documents * Ability to operate independently in complex, ambiguous environments and own outcomes * Willingness to travel up to 50% * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent) Key requirements *
