Experteer Overview As Field CTO, you serve as the top technology voice for our Fortune 500 customers, shaping multi-year enterprise transformations and executive strategy. You translate Workato’s platform vision into boardroom-ready plans and influence product and go-to-market directions. You’ll build trusted executive relationships, accelerate platform adoption, and position Workato as a leader in enterprise AI and automation. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on influence across customers, analysts, and industry events. Compensation / Benefits * Act as senior technology advisor to CIOs/CTOs/CMOs/Boards at strategic accounts and lead executive strategy sessions and architecture reviews * Lead boardroom engagements on AI strategy, governance, and enterprise automation economics * Drive strategic deal acceleration with Sales by expanding scope and securing large-scale platform investments * Advise on transformation roadmaps, enterprise AI adoption, and modern integration architectures * Represent Workato publicly through industry events, executive forums, and analyst engagements; shape thought leadership * Influence product strategy by feeding market feedback to C-level stakeholders and product teams * Coach cross-functional teams on executive engagement and scalable, repeatable enterprise motions Tasks * 15+ years of senior technology leadership experience * C-suite or executive-level experience in Fortune 500 / Global 2000 contexts * Proven track record in enterprise integration, AI/ML, and governance models * Experience presenting to Boards and shaping transformation roadmaps * Strong executive presence with storytelling and public speaking skills * Ability to operate in ambiguity and influence without formal authority * Commercial experience with enterprise software vendors is strongly preferred Key requirements * competitive base salary * performance incentives * meaningful equity * direct visibility to the CEO and executive team * remote work flexibility * opportunity to shape a new enterprise category
