Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you design memory architectures for foundation models across modalities, working with researchers to enable long-horizon reasoning, memory selection, and efficient storage/retrieval. You will define metrics, develop production-ready learning models, and shape the roadmap based on model evaluation. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance memory-enabled AI across Epic’s engine and games platform. This is an opportunity to influence how memory and context drive real-time interactive experiences. Compensation / Benefits * Design memory architectures that work across problems, modalities and products * Define new ways to measure and evaluate memory performance * Help create and deliver production-ready, scalable learning models and algorithms * Critically assess model effectiveness and contribute to the roadmap Tasks * PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field or 3+ years of industry experience * Experience creating ML algorithms for vision and/or language and deploying them in production * Expert knowledge of foundational models and vision/language, including local deployment and post-training of open weights models * Experience with memory, state, or long-horizon behavior in foundation models * Proficiency in Python and ML tools/frameworks (numpy, scipy, sklearn, pytorch) * Experience collaborating with other developers in an agile environment Key requirements * 100% medical premiums for you and dependents * Dental and Vision * Long Term Disability * Life Insurance * 401k with competitive match * Mental health program (Modern Health)
