Senior Software Engineer, Product Experiences

Experteer Overview In this role you will build and own user-facing features on the Peregrine platform, collaborating with design and product management to ship fast, intuitive, and trustworthy experiences. You’ll enable investigators and analysts to act on vast data in seconds, shaping how customers search, visualize, and interact with complex data. This is a hands-on, product-focused role with strong ownership and cross-functional collaboration. The work blends AI-powered capabilities with thoughtful UX to deliver impact at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Own large portions of the user-facing platform from start to finish * Ship and iterate on features across Search, Dossier, Charts, Dashboards, Maps, Network, Table, Workspace, Docs, Automations, and Mobile * Build search and semantic discovery across billions of records * Design Dossier views that assemble a complete entity picture on demand * Create real-time, collaborative experiences on maps and networks * Bring AI-powered capabilities with emphasis on source transparency and trust * Prioritize latency, interaction design, and resilience in complex workflows Tasks * 5+ years of experience with cross-functional software development teams * Strong frontend fundamentals (React/TypeScript) and ability to ship end-to-end features * Robust, well-tested, well-designed code deployed to users * Solid understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems * Experience shipping production-grade user-facing software, in industry or open source * Experience locating in San Francisco or Washington, D.C., and able to work in office 4 days a week Key requirements * Salary: 200,000-250,000 USD annually * Benefits * Equity (if applicable) * Bonus (if applicable)
