Software Project Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you lead program-level software delivery across multiple Agile teams, aligning with product objectives and regulatory requirements. You drive cross-team planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation to ensure predictable, high-quality software releases. You work closely with product, engineering, quality, cybersecurity, and regulatory groups to keep initiatives on track and aligned with business goals. You will lead continuous improvement of Agile execution and delivery efficiency, while coordinating release activities across teams. This is a chance to shape complex software programs in a regulated medical device context and influence how we scale Agile practices. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Scrum of Scrums and cross-team planning to coordinate multiple Agile teams * Drive program-level planning, roadmap alignment, milestones, and execution for multi-product/platform initiatives * Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, resource constraints, and execution risks * Facilitate alignment among Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, Quality, Regulatory, Cybersecurity, and stakeholders * Define and institutionalize metrics-driven execution (velocity, predictability, escaped defects, release burndown, cycle time) * Identify blockers, coordinate resolution, and escalate issues when necessary * Coordinate release planning and software integration across Scrum teams for deployment readiness * Develop and communicate program status, risks, mitigation plans, dependencies, decisions, and recommendations * Lead risk management activities and issue resolution tracking * Drive continuous improvement to Agile execution, collaboration, delivery, and product quality * Support field issue prioritization and cross-team investigation/resolution planning * Ensure compliance with ASP quality systems, SDLC requirements, cybersecurity expectations, and regulatory standards Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline * 10+ years in software engineering, software development, software project leadership, or technical program management * 5+ years leading Agile software programs or large-scale development initiatives * Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Scrum of Scrums, SAFe, or similar scaled delivery methods * Experience managing cross-functional software projects with multiple stakeholders * Proven ability to manage dependencies, risks, schedules, and competing objectives * Proficiency with MS Project and Agile collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or equivalents * Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills * Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities * Ability to influence teams and drive execution without direct authority Key requirements * Bonus or Equity * Total compensation package
