Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will develop web-based applications and infrastructure to support the deposit, curation, analysis, and dissemination of political and social science data. You will build front-end experiences with JavaScript and implement back-end services in Java with unit tests. You will ensure code quality with SonarQube and work with SQL/JPA to manage relational data. You will mentor junior developers and collaborate with product owners and designers, while automating tasks with Bash on Linux. This position combines software engineering with data-centric research impact at the University of Michigan.
