Experteer Overview In this role you lead the Beaker program for Quest Diagnostics, aligning strategic business needs with technical delivery. You will guide a team of Beaker Analysts to ensure high-quality, scalable LIS configurations that support clinical pathology workflows and end-to-end order-to-cash processes. You drive governance, quality, and efficiency across multi-site implementations and upgrades. You will partner with IT, laboratory operations, and revenue-cycle leadership to deliver a seamless, patient-focused experience, shaping the Beaker roadmap and ensuring regulatory and enterprise alignment. This is a performance-driven, cross-functional leadership opportunity in a large, reference-lab-scale, Compensation / Benefits * Lead and develop a high-performing team of Beaker Analysts (Levels 1-4) * Set clear goals, metrics, and provide coaching to grow technical and leadership capabilities * Maintain a culture of learning to sustain Epic certifications and training participation * Oversee backlog, project portfolio, and ensure timely, scoped configuration, optimization, and integration work * Ensure Beaker builds deliver streamlined workflows with optimal user experience for patients, providers, and staff * Partner with stakeholders to keep Beaker scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise goals * Manage change initiatives to minimize disruption and maximize adoption * Standardize conversions and improve consistency across systems * Define measurable success criteria (accuracy, turnaround, billing integrity, user satisfaction) and drive data-driven improvements * Lead Beaker program portfolio including new implementations, upgrades, and integrations * Establish governance, change-management standards, and documentation policies * Coordinate with Epic, vendors, and internal stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and resolve issues * Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, SOX and internal audit standards * Collaborate to maintain end-to-end interoperability and data integrity * Communicate performance, risks, and priorities in clear, actionable terms * Maintain QA standards over Beaker configurations for clinical pathology * Review/approve complex system builds to ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and stability in high-volume labs * Develop and manage the Beaker program budget (staffing, maintenance, capital) * Drive cost optimization through automation and standardization * Troubleshoot problems and perform root-cause analysis for process improvements * Ensure timely project delivery and ROI on technology investments * Assess enhancement requests for alignment with Epic standards and scalable workflows * Travel: up to 25% * English required Tasks * 10+ years of progressive Epic Beaker or LIS leadership experience * 5+ years managing teams or large initiatives * Proven success overseeing multi-site or enterprise Beaker implementations or optimizations * Experience with healthcare mergers and acquisitions * Deep understanding of laboratory operations and order-to-cash workflows (billing integration, instrument connectivity) * Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders * Strong program-management skills with governance, risk management, and change control expertise * Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, medical technology, or related field or equivalent work experience * Epic Beaker CP and AP certification * Project management or process improvement certification * Up to 25% travel * Leadership experience managing teams of 30+ Analysts with supervisory layers * English required Key requirements *
