Experteer Overview In this role, you will join DRW’s Core Infrastructure team in Chicago to design, develop, and maintain our low-latency trading platform deployed globally. You will tackle areas across the tech stack, including order routing, market data, and risk systems, helping high-performance systems operate under tight constraints. You’ll work with cross-functional groups to optimize performance and reliability in a real-time trading environment. This is your chance to shape critical infrastructure at a diversified, opportunity-driven firm with a strong emphasis on integrity and innovation. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain the low-latency trading platform used globally * Contribute to areas such as order routing, market data, and risk systems * Optimize performance and troubleshoot under high-throughput, low-latency conditions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers and quants as needed Tasks * Minimum 5 years of C++ experience in high-availability, latency-sensitive systems * Strong background in multi-threaded programming and hardware/software interaction * Proficient in performance tuning (Linux, socket I/O, applications) and debugging * Experience with C++ libraries STL and Boost * Familiarity with C++23 standards and opinions about them * Experience on challenging projects like building a custom compiler, writing a matching engine, or handling large real-time data Key requirements * group medical insurance * dental and vision insurance * 401k with discretionary employer match * short and long-term disability * life and AD&D insurance * HSA/FSA options
