React UI Developer- Basic - Plano, TX

With a primary focus on front-end development to support the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of modern web applications in a large corporate technology environment., * Develop, debug, and maintain front-end application features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.

• Support the creation and maintenance of reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.

• Assist in building responsive, accessible, and user-friendly application experiences using UI/UX best practices.

• Work with senior engineers and team members to understand requirements, technical designs, and implementation approaches.

• Support integration of front-end components with backend services, APIs, and data sources.

• Follow agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and code reviews.

• Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and questions clearly and in a timely manner.

• Contribute ideas that support improved user experience, engineering efficiency, automation, testing, and delivery quality.

• Use approved AI-assisted development tools to support coding, troubleshooting, test creation, documentation, and productivity improvements.

• Review and validate AI-generated code or documentation before use to ensure it is accurate, secure, maintainable, and aligned with team standards.

• Follow responsible AI usage practices, including secure handling of prompts, inputs, outputs, and sensitive information.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of hands-on software development experience, with working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS. The candidate is primarily expected to work on front-end development activities, including building and maintaining UI components, supporting application enhancements, troubleshooting defects, and collaborating with the broader engineering team. Exposure to backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and database querying languages is preferred but not the primary focus of the role. This role is suitable for someone who has foundational full stack development experience, is comfortable learning in a fast-paced environment, and can contribute to delivery with guidance from senior engineers and team members. The candidate should be comfortable working in a cross-team setting, participating in team discussions, asking questions, sharing ideas, and contributing to innovation and continuous improvement. The role also requires responsible use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to support coding, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation, while validating AI-generated outputs for accuracy, quality, security, and maintainability., Required Skills / Must Have
