Job description

As this is a hybrid role working out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates who currently reside in Northeast Ohio.

As an eCommerce Business Intelligence Analyst, you will build analyses that help American Greeting Interactive (AGI) make sound decisions. You’ll collaborate with eCommerce teams from an array of other disciplines (Marketing, Merchandising, Product, Creative, Data, etc.) to develop solutions and analyses related to customer behavior that will inform the decision making for our products.

You will work with the data warehouse and the BI team to run SQL queries over large datasets, analyze results and help automate processes through various RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or non-RPA tools.

You will also be responsible for critically reviewing reports and data for completeness and accuracy. This role requires a quantitative, creative, critical thinker with a mindset for continual learning and customer focus., * Drive better decision making by creating decision support tools that range from BI dashboards to interactive analytical applications

  • Analyze large data sets by quantifying the data quality, identifying particular patterns and visualizing the results in Tableau
  • Perform tasks such as data wrangling, A/B test design and analysis, statistical modeling, data mining, segmentation, clustering, data visualization, or basic data analysis tasks as needed
  • Surface performance insights and opportunities across all of AG ecommerce businesses to inform decisions and drive positive change within the organization and/or the consumer experience
  • Provide direction to the data warehouse staff to identify required data and infrastructure for reporting and analyses. Also includes working with data warehouse staff on data quality issues, metadata, etc.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Time management?, Prior experience in an eCommerce analytical role is preferred but not required., Required Length & Type of Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in scripting with SQL and/or experience in analytical coding and software packages such as R, or Python in a business setting
  • 5+ years experience with data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik in a business setting
  • Experience with Alteryx is a plus
  • Experience with e-commerce and Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Skilled at visual information presentation and dashboard creation and management
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Possess individual initiative, creativity, and passion for quantitative analytics
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once as well as plan and prioritize work
  • Good time management skills and ability to complete projects with less oversight
  • A genuine interest in innovation

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or similar discipline. Degree major secondary to hands-on experience managing or performing an analytical role.
