Manager, Data Strategy & Governance

Experteer Overview In this Manager role, you lead enterprise data & analytics projects within West Monroe’s Technology & Experience Practice. You guide strategy, architecture, and delivery, partnering with clients and executives to align data initiatives with business goals. You manage cross-functional teams, oversee budgets and risks, and shape reusable methodologies for data solutions. You’ll drive meaningful impact by delivering data migrations, integrations, and governance improvements at scale. This is a hands-on, client-facing leadership opportunity at a growth-focused firm. Compensation / Benefits * Lead client projects and manage consulting teams delivering data solutions to enhance operations and performance * Interface with client personnel and executives to understand objectives and set project goals * Make engagement decisions on budgeting, risk, resources, vendors, and methodology * Act as client point of contact, presenting updates and ensuring alignment with transformation goals * Mentor junior consultants on project management and develop reusable methodologies * Assist with SOW and business development, identifying change orders * Organize work into client presentations with findings and recommendations for C-level audiences * Contribute to practice development by improving reusable data solutions and methodologies Tasks * 7+ years of progressive Data & Analytics experience in a professional services/consulting firm * Strong data engineering knowledge including data modeling, ETL, governance, quality, privacy, and security controls * Experience leading data migration and data integration projects using Databricks, Snowflake, Azure/AWS * Excellent communication and project leadership skills with cross-functional team management in enterprise IT environments * Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for business leadership * Willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites * Hybrid work environment - 2x/week in office * Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements * medical insurance * 401k plan * annual bonuses * unlimited flexible time off * ten paid holidays * paid parental leave
