Senior Mainframe Developer - COBOL / DB2

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and related technologies.
• Design and implement application processes and solutions.
• Work with DB2 databases and SQL.
• Develop and maintain JCL processes.
• Work with CICS and other mainframe technologies.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Participate in development projects and application enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and technical issues.
• Collaborate with global technical and business teams.
• Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL, and CICS. The ideal candidate will have solid application development and process design experience, preferably within Capital Markets or Investment Banking environments. The successful candidate will work in a global environment and should demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills., * 8-10 years of relevant mainframe development experience.

• Strong knowledge of COBOL.
• Strong knowledge of PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL, and CICS.
• Experience with Mainframe DB2 Application Development.
• Experience working with System Z / JCL.
• Application and process design experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global environment.

Desirable

• Strong PL/I coding experience.
• Domain knowledge in Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and methodologies.
