Job description

As an established researcher in our dynamic team, you will take ownership of advanced projects and drive real-world impact through the following responsibilities:

  • Innovate: Lead research and development of cutting-edge quantum computing technologies tailored for industrial applications.
  • Build: Design and implement complex methods, algorithms, and tools for quantum modeling and simulation.
  • Connect: Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with leading industrial partners and international scientific consortia.
  • Share: Publish your findings in high-impact journals and present your work at prestigious international conferences and scientific meetings.

Requirements

If you already hold a PhD and are looking for an environment where you can lead innovative projects, collaborate with leading industry, and push the boundaries of applied quantum science, you belong here., * Collaboration: You enjoy mentoring junior researchers (including PhD candidates) and engaging in active team brainstorming just as much as independent research.

  • Education: A PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field (with a focus on quantum technologies).
  • Knowledge: A strong, proven understanding of Quantum Computing and/or Quantum Information Science.
  • Languages: Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is a welcome bonus but not a requirement., Proven experience or deep expertise in one or several of the following areas:
  • Quantum computing platforms & algorithm development
  • High-Performance Computing (HPC) & simulation
  • Software engineering & machine learning
  • An Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are excited by the prospect of commercializing research. We actively support scientists who want to bridge academia and business, offering pathways to develop spin-offs based on the IP and technologies you help build here.
