Working Student - Data Science

In order to support the ambitious growth & profitability targets, Allianz Partners has launched an initiative to enhance our data, data analytics and AI capabilities. As part of this initiative a team is developing state-of-the-art data-driven solutions across various business functions, especially focusing on the underwriting area, in close cooperation with the respective subject matter experts. We are looking for a working student with expertise in machine learning and data analytics. What you will do as Working Student - Data Science (m/f/d)

• Utilizing your expertise in Python, SQL, and relevant data science libraries to extract, analyze and manipulate data from various internal/external sources

• Applying advanced machine learning and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems

• Developing, testing, and deploying machine learning models to production environments

• Building and optimizing data and analytics pipelines, with a focus on scalability and efficiency

• Exploring the use of LLMs in underwriting and pricing

• Understanding of machine learning, statistical techniques and LLMs concepts and their application

• Proficiency in Python and SQL

• Experience with GitHub and established workflows for version control and collaboration

• Highly developed interpersonal skills

• Currently enrolled in university for the whole period of employment

• Excellent academic achievements

• Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities, pragmatic and result-orientated approach

• Fluency in English is required
