Network IT Engineer

Rooted Recruitment Limited is recruiting an IT & Network Engineer on behalf of a global manufacturing organisation based in Wrexham. You’ll support the company’s IT infrastructure, users and business-critical systems while contributing to ongoing digital transformation and cyber security initiatives.

Support and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, backups, networks, switches, firewalls and end-user devices. Provide Microsoft 365, Windows and general IT support to office-based and remote users. Manage and support software installations, upgrades, network devices, databases and system reporting. Work with UK and international teams while supporting cyber security best practices and continuous IT improvement.Salary & Benefits, Experience supporting IT infrastructure and business systems, including Microsoft 365, Windows, servers and networking.

Experience with Cisco Meraki Cloud, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, with knowledge of IIS, CLI and SSH. CCNA or an equivalent networking qualification is essential; HNC/HND, CCNP and a full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with an interest in technology, continuous improvement and cyber security. Experience with Fortinet FortiOS, ZPL, Certero, Axonius or Metabase would be beneficial.Application Process

£28,000-£34,000 salary, with annual salary reviews and additional company performance reward reviews.
