• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Hands-on experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or MVI patterns.
• Experience implementing biometric authentication, encryption, certificate pinning, and OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect.
• Proficiency with JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, and Robolectric.
• Experience setting up automated build and deployment pipelines.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and real-time data (WebSockets).
• Experience with Google Play Console, app signing, staged rollouts, and release management.
• Proficiency with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)., * Prior experience building mobile applications in the financial services, wealth management, or brokerage industry.
• Familiarity with financial data standards such as FIX protocol and market data feeds.
• Experience with cross-platform parity projects, such as replicating iOS apps on Android.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for financial mobile apps, including SOC 2 and data privacy regulations.
