Job description

  • Play a central role in the design, development, and delivery of platform services that power Marketo Engage and Adobe AJOB2B
  • Apply Generative AI and Agentic AI tools for software development and product features
  • Deliver features and products for Engage and AJOB2B that tackle critical business needs and iterate with customers for early feedback and areas of improvement
  • Troubleshoot, understand, and solve software problems

Requirements

As a full-stack engineer, you will contribute to the development of Marketo Engage and Adobe AJOB2B. If you are passionate about building large-scale, high-performance cloud-based microservices in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and fun environment, we can’t wait to talk to you. The best person for this job won’t necessarily be the one with everything on our wish list but will be a person who shows they can learn, collaborate, and contribute to our culture!, * 10+ years software development experience plus relevant Bachelor’s degree and/or an advanced degree in a related field or equivalent. Master’s level degree is preferred

  • Experience building distributed data processing services and multi-threaded programming with processing frameworks such as Spark and Kafka.
  • Strong experience with Java/Scala
  • Proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Experience with JavaScript UI toolkits, such as ReactJS, AngularJS, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally to solve technical challenges and drive solutions
  • Proven knowledge in developing, deploying, highly available SaaS applications and services like Docker, Kubernetes & AWS and private cloud
  • Experience mentoring other team members
  • Passion for operational excellence and to build robust and maintainable scalable software services.

Pluses:

  • Capability as a technical lead who can drive development initiatives from end-to-end
  • Experience with Splunk
  • Experience with PHP and Javascript
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience building features with LLMs

Benefits & conditions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 – $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
