Job description

Hands-on Senior Cloud Load Balancing L3 Engineer to support a large-scale X86 Data Center Exit and AWS Migration Program. The resource will provide operational support during migration cutovers and post-migration stabilization, troubleshooting application traffic routing, performance, and availability issues across AWS ALB and F5 load balancers. Key Responsibilities

  • Support application migration activities from on premise to AWS.
  • Administer and troubleshoot AWS Application Load Balancers (ALB) and AWS F5 LTM environments.
  • Investigate and resolve application connectivity, traffic routing, and performance issues.
  • Manage load balancer pools, members, health checks, and traffic distribution.
  • Support migration cutovers, validation activities, and post-migration stabilization.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of AWS F5 BIG-IP LTM administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS ALB
  • Experience supporting cloud migration and production environments.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and application traffic flow.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience

  • 6-8 years of infrastructure security, cloud, and network experience.
  • 3+ years supporting AWS load balancing environments (F5 and ALB).
  • Experience working in migration and operational support roles.
