Job description
Duties: Perform semiconductor design engineering duties including design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Responsible for leading a team to develop low-level firmware solutions and develop best practices for delivering enablement SW along with HW IP. Assist in managing the interaction between HW and SW teams in developing standard practices. Drive low level firmware solutions and support HW and SW IP usage and debug. Establish ways to ensure compatibility across IP versions and help to leverage FW development across programs. 5% international travel req’d to (not exhaustive) Germany, Romania, Czech Republic, China, & India.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, foreign equivalent or related field.
Five (5) years of experience in job offered, Software Developer, Application Engineer, Firmware Architect or related occupation..
