Job description
We are looking for an experienced and driven Lead Software Engineer/Cloud Architect to join our team supporting a mission-critical Aerospace/Defense program. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud-based solutions built on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Work Schedule: 9/80 schedule - 9 out of every 14 days (80 hours), with every other Friday off Responsibilities Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of AWS-based cloud applications supporting enterprise software implementation. Prepare comprehensive architectural designs and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient. Partner with engineering and program teams to translate requirements into robust cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance is required. Candidates need a Security+ certification or equivalent DoD IAT Level II certification, or the ability to obtain one within 80 days of hire. A bachelor’s degree and 9 years of relevant experience are required, along with hands-on experience building cloud applications on AWS and preparing architectural designs.
