The team delivers all data products generated by Open Cosmos and its partners, curates and develops DataCosmos (our geospatial data platform) and builds integrations that make satellite imagery easy to access and act on.What will you be doing?As a Test Engineer in the Data Team you will help ensure the quality and reliability of the DataCosmos platform, testing everything from frontend interfaces and APIs through to data flows and platform behaviour as we continue to scale our products and capabilities.You’ll be:Defining and implementing testing strategies across platform features and releasesDesigning, building, and maintaining automated tests for frontend and backend systemsCarrying out manual and exploratory testing across user journeys and edge casesValidating data flows, outputs, and platform reliabilityCollaborating with engineering and product teams to define acceptance criteria and test coverageSupporting CI/CD pipelines and improving automated testing within release cyclesIdentifying gaps in coverage and driving improvements in testing practices and frameworksInvestigating defects across UI, API, and data layersReviewing user and admin documentation to ensure clarity and alignment with system behaviourWhat You’ll bringAbility to design reliable and repeatable tests using manual and automated approachesUnderstanding of different testing strategies including integration, regression, system, and exploratory testingAbility to build automated tests for web UIs and APIs using modern testing frameworksUnderstanding of API-driven systems and client-server architecturesAbility to validate data integrity, transformations, and outputs within data platformsAwareness of CI/CD practices and testing within release pipelinesStrong analytical thinking and attention to detail when identifying defects and inconsistenciesUnderstanding of user workflows and the ability to test from different user perspectivesA collaborative and pragmatic approach, balancing speed and quality in a scaling environmentThis role can be based in any of our Locations globallyTo apply, you must have the legal right to work in our chosen location.When applying, please submit your CV in English.Why Open Cosmos?Work at the cutting edge of space technology with customers around the globe.A mission-driven company making space accessible to help solve real-world challenges.A diverse, ambitious, and supportive team.#J-*****-Ljbffr
