Job description

Develop MES software for lens manufacturing
Implement system functions, controls and algorithms
Implement unit tests to achieve reasonable test coverage
Work in an agile project run on Azure DevOps
Manage deployment of new and changed versions of the solution into edge environments
Diagnose issues across running services using MSSQL, MongoDB, Kafka and Docker
Create and maintain documentation and training material for owned services
Report bugs and resolve them at code level

Requirements

Expert programming experience in Java
Minimum 3 years developing distributed systems, microservice architecture preferred
Advanced knowledge of software design patterns and software resilience patterns
Software debugging and monitoring
Knowledge of Linux environments
Modern IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Visual Studio or similar)
Very good written and spoken English
Strong teamwork with a customer and service-oriented working style
First experience working in international teams
Degree in computer science or business informatics, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 8 years in software development, + Software development in Quarkus (preferred) or Java Spring
Basic HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Advanced Git for source code versioning
Enterprise software development experience
