Job description
A large automotive company in Fremont is looking for a Program Manager to join their infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer management, technical program management, factory engineering, manufacturing, construction and contract management.
What You’ll Do
- Support the management of multiple construction projects (commercial, industrial, or TI) from planning through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking key milestones and deliverables
- Coordinate with internal teams (PMs, Superintendents, VDC, Design) and external partners (contractors, vendors, consultants)
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and support forecasting and reporting
- Identify risks and issues proactively and help implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and company procedures
- Assist with procurement, contract administration, and document control
- Prepare regular status updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
- Support site activities as needed, including coordination and progress tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in construction project or program management
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycle, and best practices
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, or tenant improvement projects
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6 or MS Project)
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range for this role is $35 - $45 depending on years of experience and education.
