Job description

A large automotive company in Fremont is looking for a Program Manager to join their infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer management, technical program management, factory engineering, manufacturing, construction and contract management.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the management of multiple construction projects (commercial, industrial, or TI) from planning through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking key milestones and deliverables
  • Coordinate with internal teams (PMs, Superintendents, VDC, Design) and external partners (contractors, vendors, consultants)
  • Monitor project budgets, track costs, and support forecasting and reporting
  • Identify risks and issues proactively and help implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and company procedures
  • Assist with procurement, contract administration, and document control
  • Prepare regular status updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Support site activities as needed, including coordination and progress tracking

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction project or program management
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycle, and best practices
  • Experience working on commercial, industrial, or tenant improvement projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6 or MS Project)
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Benefits & conditions

Pay Range for this role is $35 - $45 depending on years of experience and education.
