Job description

Responsible for leading software project management activities through various software product development cycles delivering innovative and cost-effective Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions. Review effort estimates and engineering timing plans per internal and external milestones, expected work products, and product deliveries. Execute project as per Agile and ASPICE process. Act as scrum master and run scrum meetings. Lead the activities to ensure compliance with Magna’s Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP) software engineering work products and any other relevant deliverables are released per project’s configuration management and timing plans and are in compliance with product development process and customer expectations. Responsible for overall project Software planning, execution and delivery. Responsible for global teams for project execution. Responsible for tracking the software defects and change requests. Responsible to communicate software status using dashboards, charts and reports to management. Manage software risks. Report status, prepare contingency and mitigation plans and execute corrective actions. Initiate escalation of unmitigated software issues to the technical project leader and/or program management. Ensure engineering targets (quality, delivery timing, performance) for software deliverables are met on-time. Participate in continuous improvement efforts, research, recommends and initiates implementation of enhancements to products, processes and programs.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or foreign educational equivalent, followed by five years of experience in the position offered, or in a similar position, such as Software Engineer. Experience must include development of various Automotive Infotainments and Sensor including Lidars, Cameras; use of C programming and debugging embedded systems as well as Board Bring up with Linux /QNX/Baremetal; and use of SDLC Process Agile, Scrum, Water fall Standards including ASPICE, ISO26262, and AUTOSAR.
