Smadex is one of the fastest growing DSPs globally and we are adding talent to fuel our ambitious plans.The RoleAs aSenior DevOps Engineer, your mission is to enhance the availability, scalability, and security of our production systems.We are looking for someone with a proven track record inhigh-growth environmentswho has personally navigated the technical and organizational complexities of a scale-up transitioning into a global company.ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Evolution:Design and implement the future infrastructure that will elevate Smadex to the next level in terms of performance and reliability.Ownership:Embrace the”You build it, you run it”philosophy-take full ownership of your code from design to production, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.Cloud Management:Deploy and manage applications across multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud), ensuring seamless integration and high performance.System Reliability:Ensure the high availability, massive scalability, and robust security of all production systems.Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and system enhancements.Incident Management:Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues to maintain our <100ms response time standards.Compliance:Ensure all systems adhere to strict security and compliance policies and procedures.RequirementsExperience:5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related infrastructure field.Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Scaling experience:You have a proven track record in a high-growth environment and have personally navigated the technical challenges of a scale-up transitioning into a global company.Cloud Mastery:Expert-level knowledge ofAWS(primary), with additional experience in other cloud providers such as GCP or Oracle Cloud.Infrastructure Strategy:Strong experience managing and migrating applications using diverse cloud-based architectures.OS & Containers:Deep knowledge of Linux servers and extensive experience with containerization technologies, specificallyDocker and Kubernetes.Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Advanced proficiency with automation and configuration tools such asTerraform and Ansible.Development:Strong scripting skills inPython and Bashto automate repetitive tasks and build internal tooling.CI/CD:Deep experience in building and maintaining robust pipelines using tools likeJenkins and GitLab.Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.Please note that we do NOT provide VISA sponsorship. 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related infrastructure field. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Scaling experience: You have a proven track record in a high-growth environment and have personally navigated the technical challenges of a scale-up transitioning into a global company. Cloud Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of AWS (primary), with additional experience in other cloud providers such as GCP or Oracle Cloud. Infrastructure Strategy: Strong experience managing and migrating applications using diverse cloud-based architectures. OS & Containers: Deep knowledge of Linux servers and extensive experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes . Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency with automation and configuration tools such as Terraform and Ansible . Development: Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash to automate repetitive tasks and build internal tooling. CI/CD: Deep experience in building and maintaining robust pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab, Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
