Job description

within a highly visible team during a period of significant business transformation and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and delivery of the metadata roadmap, taking ownership of key initiatives and deliverables.Develop and enhance capabilities within Collibra and Unity Catalog to improve the maturity and effectiveness of data governance tools.Work closely with Data Owners and Data Stewards to support data delivery and data quality governance outcomes.Promote the value of metadata tools by demonstrating features and capabilities to business stakeholders.Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation through the development and application of metadata solutions.Coach and support stakeholders on the importance of business context in metadata management, connecting business requirements with technical metadata processes and platforms.Contribute to the ongoing development of data governance practices that support data and AI initiatives across the

Requirements

organisation.Skills & Experience RequiredStrong understanding of Data Governance best practices, including metadata management principles and their business value. A DAMA qualification is desirable.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Data Governance role within the financial services sector.Hands-on experience with Collibra or similar data governance tools such as Informatica, Ataccama, or Alation.Awareness or experience of Databricks Unity Catalog.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment and adapt to evolving business priorities.A proactive and growth-oriented mindset, with a passion for data, AI, and emerging technologies.Enthusiastic about driving innovation through automation and advancing data and AI governance capabilities.Why Apply?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and forward-thinking team at an exciting stage of its data transformation journey.
