Job description

As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, you’ll define and evolve our application strategy and application portfolio, ensuring our technology estate supports current business needs and future growth. You’ll work closely with business leaders, architects, and delivery teams to align applications with business capabilities and guide modernisation, governance, and transformation initiatives., * Define and maintain the enterprise application strategy and roadmap.

  • Develop current, transition, and target-state application architectures.
  • Lead application modernisation, rationalisation, and optimisation activities.
  • Maintain application portfolios, lifecycle roadmaps, and target-state architectures.
  • Establish architecture standards, principles, and governance processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align applications, business capabilities, and technology strategy.
  • Ensure applications are secure, resilient, and aligned to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and governing enterprise-scale application architectures.
  • Strong understanding of application strategy, roadmaps, and portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, enterprise applications, and legacy systems.
  • Ability to engage and influence both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting transformation and modernisation programmes.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.

Experience within insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry is advantageous, but candidates from other sectors with relevant transferable experience are encouraged to apply.
