NCARNG- G1 Medical GENSIS System Administrator (Pipeline)

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to administer MHS GENESIS system access and coordinate medical records retrieval on behalf of a military medical administration branch. This position manages GENESIS access and training requests for medical staff and personnel, and serves as the point of contact for identifying and distributing medical records from active-duty Medical Treatment Facilities and VA hospitals to medical providers and case managers., * Manage access and training requests for medical full-time staff and assigned medical personnel in MHS GENESIS as required

• Identify, print, or email medical documents to providers and medical case managers for service members treated at active-duty Medical Treatment Facilities or VA hospitals
• Ensure 100% HIPAA and Privacy Act compliance in the handling and distribution of all medical records and documents at all times
• Accurately retrieve, route, and track medical documentation across multiple providers and case managers
• Ability to handle sensitive medical records and personally identifiable information with strict HIPAA compliance
• Ability to plan, organize, meet deadlines, and control sensitive and confidential information

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within MHS GENESIS or a comparable DoD electronic health record system and a thorough understanding of how to handle and route protected health information accurately and in full compliance with HIPAA. • Familiarity with the MHS GENESIS system and DoD/VA medical records management processes
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI / Public Trust Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/Exchange, Teams, SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military service or direct experience supporting the National Guard or Army Reserve
• Currently active DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and/or existing favorable security clearance - candidates holding an active Secret clearance or higher fully meet and exceed the minimum requirement
• Experience supporting DoD medical program administration in a military or government contracting environment
• Familiarity with multiple DoD medical database and administrative systems
• Prior hands-on experience managing access and records within MHS GENESIS
• Familiarity with DoD and VA inter-facility medical records request and transfer processes
• Experience supporting military medical providers, case managers, or clinical administrative staff
