Job description

Own the full requirements and delivery lifecycle for an engineering pod

Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts

Define requirements, root causes, solution options, and project scope

Investigate existing system behavior through code reviews, database queries, and API interactions

Create epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and integration specifications

Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate requirements creation and documentation

Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, and business alignment

Maintain domain knowledge bases, business rules, and technical documentation

Manage and prioritize the product backlog

Partner with Product Management on roadmap initiatives and feasibility assessments

Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on integrations and solution design

Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives

Validate delivered functionality and review pull requests against acceptance criteria, Insight Global is seeking a Technical Product Owner, AI-Native Solutions Engineering for a leading legal technology and financial services organization. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, owning the end-to-end requirements and delivery lifecycle within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate combines strong product ownership experience with technical expertise across APIs, databases, architecture, and software development concepts. This role will heavily leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate requirements gathering, user story creation, and process documentation while ensuring quality and accuracy. The Technical Product Owner will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver innovative solutions that streamline complex operational workflows and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field, or equivalent hands-on software development experience

3+ years of experience in Technical Product Ownership, Solutions Analysis, or Software Engineering within an Agile environment

Ability to read and reason through application code, evaluate architecture, and assess technical feasibility

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, relational database design, data modeling, and web application architecture

T-SQL or equivalent proficiency for data investigation and validation

Experience authoring user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements documentation

Experience with AI-assisted requirements tools, including prompt design and output evaluation

Jira and Confluence proficiency

Experience with Draw.io, Lucidchart, or similar diagramming tools

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Authorized to work in the United States C#, .NET, and Entity Framework development experience

React or Angular experience

Microsoft SQL Server experience

Git and Bitbucket experience

Postman or Swagger experience
