Job description
Support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations by improving equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance practices, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts., * Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain safe production

Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for equipment failures and recurring operational issues

Analyze maintenance and operational data to identify trends and corrective actions
-
Support and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programs
-
Partner with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to improve plant and equipment performance
-
Drive continuous improvement in reliability, maintenance effectiveness, energy efficiency, and operational performance
-
Support development of maintenance procedures, operating practices, and equipment standards
-
Provide technical support during equipment repairs, shutdowns, startups, and maintenance activities
-
Support compliance with OSHA, Process Safety Management (PSM), environmental, and other safety requirements
-
Maintain equipment records and use CMMS systems to support maintenance planning and reliability initiatives
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical/engineering discipline. Candidates with a 2-year degree and strong relevant experience will be considered.
Minimum Experience Required
-
3+ years of experience in plant engineering, reliability, maintenance, or manufacturing operations; additional relevant experience preferred for candidates with a 2-year degree

Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and manufacturing/process systems
-
Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
-
Experience with reliability methods such as RCA, FMEA, RCM, vibration analysis, or oil analysis
-
Familiarity with CMMS systems
-
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and OSHA PSM requirements
-
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred: Experience in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial manufacturing; CMRP certification; Lean/Six Sigma experience; or experience with process controls and instrumentation.
