Job description
We are looking for a Senior SAP PaPM Lead Consultant to lead the design, development, implementation, and optimization of SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) solutions. The consultant will work closely with Finance, Controlling, FP&A, and business stakeholders to build profitability, cost allocation, and financial performance models., * Lead SAP PaPM solution design, modeling, configuration, implementation, and optimization.
- Gather business requirements related to profitability, cost allocation, financial planning, and performance management.
- Design complex PaPM models, functions, allocations, calculations, and data flows.
- Work with Finance, Controlling, FP&A, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable PaPM solutions.
- Integrate SAP PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and other source systems.
- Develop and optimize data flows, calculations, allocations, and reporting structures.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Lead SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support activities.
- Provide technical leadership to junior consultants and development teams.
- Prepare solution designs, technical documentation, and implementation guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial and profitability processes using SAP PaPM.
- Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong hands-on SAP PaPM experience.
- Strong experience in SAP PaPM implementation, configuration, modeling, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of SAP Finance/Controlling, CO, COPA, profitability analysis, cost allocation, and management accounting.
- Experience developing complex profitability and allocation models.
- Strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge and experience integrating SAP PaPM with S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, or related data platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading requirements gathering and working directly with business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently lead SAP PaPM solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred Skills
- SAP PaPM certification.
- Experience with SAP FI/CO, COPA, and financial reporting.
- SAP Analytics Cloud or other analytics/reporting experience.
- Knowledge of SQL and HANA modeling.
- Previous experience leading SAP PaPM implementation/transformation projects.
