Research Platform - AI Engineer

Unique opportunity for an engineer skilled in building agentic AI applications at a globally successful firm. This role offers the chance to enhance research and trading workflows, unlock new capabilities and deliver measurable business impact.

Your focus will be to design and deploy AI systems - plus the tools, integrations and orchestration layers required for autonomous operation - to assist with complex tasks, streamline processes, and accelerate the flow of information. To do this, you will partner with researchers, developers, and traders to identify high-impact automation opportunities, as well as driving AI initiatives from concept through production.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding communicator, confident performing in a fast-moving, ever-changing trading environment., * Solid experience of designing and building agentic AI solutions in finance (e.g. LLMs, agentic-based, identifying processes where AI can be used for optimisation)

• Strong Python development skills
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues across the business at all levels of technical knowledge
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) from a top-tier university
