Full Stack / Backend Engineer

• Enhance the platform’s reporting, analytics, and performance measurement capabilities across the full stack
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and related technologies
• Build and optimize data processing and automation pipelines for large-scale media and analytics datasets
• Develop real-time analysis and tracking capabilities supporting campaign measurement infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to architect and implement technical solutions
• Improve platform scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency across cloud-native environments
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including large-scale data storage and retrieval patterns
• Contribute to frontend development initiatives using modern JavaScript frameworks including Vue.js
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Help evaluate and implement emerging AI and analytics capabilities leveraging OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock technologies

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Backend Engineer, or Software Engineer in modern web application environments
• Strong hands-on Python development experience
• Experience building scalable APIs and web applications
• Experience with frontend technologies including Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, and REST APIs
• Strong experience with NoSQL and SQL databases including MongoDB and Snowflake or similar technologies
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, and EMR
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and scalable application design
• Experience working with data processing technologies including Pandas and/or PySpark
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Skills:

• Experience within AdTech, MarTech, Media Analytics, SaaS, or Digital Measurement platforms
• Experience with Tornado, TypeScript, Wordpress/PHP, and MarkDoc
• Experience building real-time analytics or tracking platforms
• Exposure to AI/LLM integrations including OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock
• Experience with large-scale reporting and analytics systems
• Prior experience in startup or growth-stage technology environments
• Tri-State Area location preferred for occasional in-person collaboration
