GCP Architect

Design and optimize scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data architectures on GCP, aligning solutions with business goals.

• Design end-to-end batch and streaming architectures using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage
• Build scalable data models for analytics and ML
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Data Fusion, Composer (Airflow), and dbt
• Implement security and governance (IAM, VPC-SC, DLP, encryption) ensuring compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
• Optimize performance and cost (BigQuery tuning, monitoring)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable analytics and AI/ML use cases

GCP expertise (ideally Professional Data Engineer certified)

• Strong SQL and Python/Scala; experience with Spark/Beam
• Hands-on with GCP services, IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Proactive and solution-oriented

Nice to Have

• Experience with Looker, Vertex AI, or multi-cloud environments
• Knowledge of real-time data tools (Bigtable, Firestore)
