Sr. Platform Engineer

One of Insight Global’s customers is looking to onboard a Senior Platform Engineer to support and enhance their enterprise endpoint management and digital workplace environment. This individual will be responsible for administering and optimizing Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management solutions across the organization. They will help manage device provisioning, compliance policies, operating system updates, patching, and endpoint lifecycle management while driving improvements around automation and user experience. The engineer will work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and support teams to maintain a secure, reliable, and scalable endpoint platform that supports both on-site and remote employees. A large focus of the role will be developing endpoint solutions that improve platform stability, reduce manual effort, and support modern workplace initiatives.

4-6+ years of experience administering enterprise endpoint management platforms

Strong experience with Microsoft Intune

Experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or other cloud-based VDI environments

Experience with Microsoft Entra ID

Experience administering Microsoft 365 services

Strong understanding of endpoint compliance policies, device configuration profiles, and security baselines

Experience managing Windows, macOS, and mobile devices

Experience with device lifecycle management, provisioning, patching, updates, and retirement

Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience

Experience with Windows Autopilot deployment and provisioning

Experience supporting cloud-first Microsoft environments Windows 365 experience

Experience with Conditional Access and Microsoft Defender

Experience supporting enterprise MDM environments

Experience with vulnerability remediation and endpoint security

Microsoft Endpoint Management, Azure, or Modern Workplace certifications
