Job description

This role is ideal for an experienced Java developer who enjoys modernizing enterprise applications, working across web technologies, and collaborating with a large development team to deliver high-quality solutions.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications
Support modernization and upgrades of customer-facing government applications
Develop and enhance web application functionality using Java, JSON, and XML
Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Test, debug, and troubleshoot application and production issues
Develop technical specifications, workflows, and supporting documentation
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle
Support application deployments, enhancements, and ongoing modernization efforts

Requirements

Application development or related experience
Strong Java development experience, including JDK 21
Experience working with JSON and XML
Strong understanding of application development, testing, and integration methodologies
Experience troubleshooting and debugging enterprise applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent experience
