Job description
- Install, configure, and maintain various security systems including but not limited to access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of security solutions.
- Promptly identify and resolve technical issues to maintain system functionality.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and use troubleshooting tools to analyze system performance and determine solutions.
- Provide both remote and on-site support to address client concerns efficiently.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and respond to inquiries.
- Offer training and guidance when necessary to clients on system operation and maintenance.
- Foster positive client relationships through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities, including service reports, equipment inventory, and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with the other technical teams to contribute to knowledge bases and share best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a related role; security systems
- Industry Certifications in Genetec, Avigilon Lenel, CCure, Bosch, AMAG and other Access Control and Video Management systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills, both over the phone and in person, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PDF.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in networking, network cameras, circuitry, relays, reading wiring diagrams, and using digital multimeter testers.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and directions in a dynamic work environment.
- Ideally B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related subject.
- Ability to travel and work onsite.
