Requirements
- Lead the migration from on-premises IronPort email security appliances to a Proofpoint cloud-based email security solution, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to email services.
- Expert-level experience designing, configuring, and maintaining Proofpoint as an enterprise email security service.
- Strong experience configuring Proofpoint firewall rules and maintaining block lists/allow lists.
- Experience responding to requests to quarantine, release, or manage email messages.
- Deep understanding of MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) concepts and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway (PSMG) 8.x.
- Hands-on experience with Linux Server environments.
- Experience working with VMware and virtualized infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise email security environments.
- Ability to coordinate migration activities, resolve issues, and minimize impact to business email services.
