Head of Data

Head of Data - Director Level We’re partnering with one of the most exciting technology companies globally as they look to appoint a Head of Data to lead their internal Data Science & Analytics function. This is a genuinely influential, Director-level position with responsibility for shaping how data is used across the organisation to drive insight, improve decision-making and create measurable business value. We’re looking for much more than a technical data leader. The successful individual will need the drive, personality and credibility to have their voice heard across the entire business, influencing senior leadership and championing a truly data-driven culture. The role will focus on:

• Leading the Data Science & Analytics strategy across the organisation
• Building and developing a high-performing data function
• Using data and advanced analytics to identify new opportunities and drive better business decisions
• Working closely with senior leadership to align data strategy with commercial objectives
• Championing a data-driven culture across the business
• Developing analytics, insights and data products that deliver tangible business value
• Driving best practice across Data Science, Analytics, governance and responsible data usage
• Exploring how AI, Machine Learning and emerging technologies can create further value What are we looking for? We’re keen to speak with established data leaders who have operated at Head of Data, Director of Data, Head/Director of Data Science, Head/Director of Analytics or a similar level.

• A strong background across Data Science and Analytics
• Previous experience within a SaaS or technology product business
• Experience building and leading high-performing data teams
• A track record of turning data into commercial and strategic value
• Strong C-suite and senior stakeholder management experience
• The personality and confidence to challenge, influence and drive change across an organisation
• Exposure to AI and Machine Learning would be advantageous
• Data Engineering knowledge is a nice to have rather than essential This is not a Data Engineering or Data Platform leadership role. The focus is firmly on Data Science, Analytics, insight and business impact.
